Patient monitor is a patient monitoring system that is used to measure various physiological parameters of a patient in hospital. Monitors may be used for a variety of purposes, including diagnostics, treatment and patient care.  

Patient monitor parameters that may be monitored include heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and more. There are a variety of different types of patient monitors available, each with its own set of parameters that can be monitored.
